As we head into the holidays and approaching the new year, we are doing our best to enjoy all the special moments, but may feel overwhelmed, exhausted, and unseen.
Statistics prove that divorce filings jump in January each year and Florida is the sixth highest in the nation for divorce. Statistics also show that women file at higher rates than men. Do some internet searches to investigate more if interested.

However, we can turn this around! I am a family, juvenile, and criminal law attorney who has seen the worst of the worst and I am an attorney who wants to help you take ownership of your life so you can live out God's purpose for your life. Who wants to waste it drowning in more stress, while throwing away your hard-earned resources? 

I am the divorce attorney who wants you to save your money and not divorce, if possible. Did you know attorneys make on average $300-$500 per hour and the average cost of divorce is between $10,000-$15,000 in Florida? It can go much much higher the more it is contested. This is taking away precious resources, especially if you have children and a retirement to worry about. 

For those who know they have reached the end, I know so many of you have tried, and tried, and are tired and feel like you have done everything. There may be no hope to preserve your marriage. I understand and see you too. Praying healing can take place in your life!

Monthly I hold space for a Lunch and Learn Seminar, where now I will incorporate bi-monthly events with predetermined topics. This new year on the last Friday in January (January 30, 2026) for men and on the first Friday in February (Feb. 6, 2026) for women, I will be holding a legal seminar going over "Five Facts for a Fabulous Marriage". I have been in marriage with many kiddos for over a decade (I know, still a rookie, but I welcome vets to attend for their expertise!) and we have been through the ups and downs. I have spoken to countless hopeless spouses seeking divorce and separation and have been deep inside the criminal law arenas where my clients have faced up to life in prison. I have seen people at the lowest of lows and have been there myself. There are five top facts that I have seen time and time again where if there is any possibility of hope and reconciliation, then this could help.

This seminar will be open to everyone, but I can only speak to men about women and to women about men, as that is all I know. Furthermore, I will be adding biblical references and points as a Christian, as again that is what I know. Again, all are welcome! I will provide a digital option where you can be as anonymous as possible, as well as be open to meeting in person in Fort Myers depending on the interest.
